Harmonie German Club

Everyone is welcome at the Harmonie German Club — come and experience their warm, friendly German atmosphere. Willkommen! Founded in 1961 by German migrants, including members of the Jennings Germans, the Club has long been a cultural home away from home in Canberra. Renowned for their legendary pork knuckles, they serve authentic German cuisine alongside your favourite imported beers. The Club proudly hosts the Canberra Blues Society, a variety of choirs and dance groups, and the ACT Eight Ball Association. It has an impressive musical history too, including a pre-fame performance by AC/DC in 1974, and is home to the largest slab of the Berlin Wall in the Southern Hemisphere. Live entertainment regularly takes centre stage across their two spaces, The Zeppelin Room and The Keller.
