Fringe Mount Gambier
Fringe Mount Gambier is an arts and cultural festival that embraces acceptance and diversity. It provides an opportunity for all artists and venues to participate, shine and be bold, and for the community to experience art that thrills, challenges and provokes curiosity, right in their backyard.
Fringe Mount Gambier runs from Friday 20 March to Saturday 4 April 2026, sprawling across various venues throughout Mount Gambier / Berrin for 16 days of Fringe!
In 2026, the festival's major FREE community event, FRiNGELAND returns on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th March!
Taking over the iconic Cave Garden / Thugi in the heart of the city; come and enjoy a smorgasbord of Fringe performances, roving artists, street performers, market stalls, DJs and bands, kids entertainment, interactive art, showcases of local wine, craft beers and street food. An arts celebration for all ages!
Fringe 2026 will also feature major project with video and light projection artist, Video Architecture (Jim Coad), who will create (together with the community and Fringe artist Tim Goschnick) projection art onto key Mount Gambier heritage buildings.
Cabaret, dance, comedy, live music, theatre, visual art and more; the regional city will burst with creative performances, exhibitions and workshops suitable for all ages.
