Jamieson Autumn Festival
The Jamieson Autumn Festival returns to the historic High Country town of Jamieson, celebrating autumn with a weekend of live music, markets, workshops and community spirit.
The festival begins on Friday evening with live music sessions at the Kevington Hotel and the Tipsy Trout Café, creating a relaxed start to the weekend in the beautiful Jamieson Valley.
Saturday is the main festival day, when Jamieson's picturesque main street and riverside come alive with four stages of live music, busking, artisan market stalls, food and drink vendors, old world trade demonstrations, community games, kids activities, workshops, an art exhibition and a classic car show and shine. Visitors can wander between the stages, explore the market, enjoy local food and drinks, and soak up the vibrant festival atmosphere surrounded by beautiful autumn colour. Live music continues into the evening at the Jamieson Brewery and Grill and the Courthouse Hotel.
On Sunday, the festival slows down with creative workshops, a guided Significant Tree Walk through the township, and more live music at the Tipsy Trout Café garden, offering a relaxed way to finish the weekend.
The Jamieson Autumn Festival is a free community event and a perfect opportunity to experience the charm, creativity and welcoming spirit of this historic High Country town.
