Rising above the townscape of Casino, the Water Tower has been transformed into a sweeping outdoor canvas that celebrates the region's stories, nature and cultural heritage. Painted by The Brightsiders collective, the mural project began in March 2022, paused through flooding and inclement weather, then resumed and was completed in October. The artwork is composed of four key panels: an Indigenous basket weaver, a local farmer and his cattle dog, a graceful swan, and a platypus. Together the murals evoke the emotions land, water and community life.
