In the first day you will explore the history, materials and techniques of using traditional indigo dye, including resist techniques to achieve unique patterning. Extend your skills and knowledge in day two by learning the methodology of over-dyeing indigo fabrics with osage orange and mistletoe dyes to create a palette of yellow and green hues. At the completion of the workshop you will take home a variety of fabric samples and silk scarves celebrating the exhuberant colours created using these age-old techniques.
