Poco Loco - Newcastle Fringe Festival

Poco Loco's shared insanity is a passion for playing all forms of Latin Music and music created under the Latin influence. Punctuating a Poco Loco performance are eccentric, bizarre and amusing stories about the music, as well as a running story with rear projected images, of the band's recent fictitious experiences. Poco Loco is led by two times City of Newcastle Drama Award winner writer/producer/musician, David "Diego" Baker, with Angel Manuel Serrano (real name) on trumpet and flute, Alex "Alejandro" Croke on electric and double bass, and Paul "Pablo" Carruthers, on percussion. Poco Loco's performances are known for their lively atmosphere and audience interaction featuring spontaneous storytelling and playful banter. It is music for reclining in a lounge chair, or it can be infectiously danceable, sung in Spanish or English (all the Locos sing), or instrumental, but all of it is memorable.
