Ozact Theatre Company presents William Shakespeare's The Tempest. Banished to a remote island, a powerful sorcerer and Milanesian nobleman, his daughter, and a few magical spirits exact revenge on those who have wronged him. But the strings of certain hearts are plucked by romance, causing chaos along the way. Ozact has been bringing Shakespeare's works to life in Victoria's most stunning outdoor venues for over three decades. This production will transport audiences to an enchanted world of sorcerers, spells and shipwrecks. Mont De Lancey is delighted to welcome back Ozact Theatre for 2026 - this year's performance will be under the branches of their much-loved 140 year old oak tree. Bring your folding chairs, rugs and cushions plus sunhats, jackets or wraps, whatever you think you might need - remember you are being transported by magic to a remote island. Patrons are recommended to arrive 15-30 minutes beforehand. Mont De Lancey prohibits bring-your-own alcohol on the premises. Water, soft drinks, wine by the glass, and nibbles will be for sale on site. Patrons are welcome to bring their own nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks.
