This event is presented by the Multicultural Council of Wagga Wagga in collaboration with the Wagga Wagga City Library to celebrate Nowruz, Harmony Day and International Day Against Racial Discrimination. *Nowruz (meaning "New Day") is a Persian celebration that takes place on the vernal equinox. It honours the arrival of spring, and celebrates life, renewal, hope and the triumph of light over darkness.
