Love Language: International Womxn’s Day Art Exhibition

Love Language is Platform Presents' 7th annual International Women's Day group exhibition. Bringing together over 40 women and gender diverse artists, the exhibition explores love as something lived rather than defined. Through painting, textile, photography, installation, moving image and sound, artists reflect on the ways love shows up in care, routine, memory, touch and time. From chosen family and community to inherited gestures and quiet acts of support, Love Language invites visitors to consider the many forms love can take in everyday life. While grounded in warmth and gratitude, the exhibition also makes space for complexity. Love can be layered and imperfect, shaped by lived experience, gender and power. Visitors are encouraged to move slowly through the galleries, sit with the works and reflect on their own relationships and connections. The weekend program includes the exhibition across multiple gallery spaces, live performances, market stalls, DJs and a relaxed social atmosphere. Saturday is a ticketed event, with Sunday offering a low sensory gallery day with entry by donation. Love Language is open to everyone and welcomes all members of the community to attend.
